BEARS and Wildlife!!

The Smokies is Bear Country.  You may encounter a Bear or other wildlife in the park and also near the Cabin! Spotting a bear is exciting, you should make sure both you and the Bear are safe. Hear is a good link to help you be ready, https://bearwise.org/

Bears activity is highest between April and August!
